The Region will double investments in air territorial continuity . From 40 to 80 million euros (compared to only 5 million from the state). This is one of the new features leaked on the draft of the new tender for subsidized flights to and from Sardinia that the Transport Councilor Barbara Manca is illustrating to the regional councilors of Campo Largo.
The new call should include an additional time slot (from three to four) , while a control room should be set up to optimally increase the waiting lists, so as to always guarantee a place for residents .
Some more details: those traveling for work reasons should have rates equal to those for residents, discounts also for relatives of residents . Concessions are foreseen for athletes and musicians, a 30% discount on the discounted rate for children up to 12 years, a direct discount of 25% on the ticket for social assistance also for flights in continuity.
