His name was Dollar and he was a French hound . Last Saturday during a big game hunt he was killed by an electric discharge near a low voltage line.

It happened in the countryside of Aggius and Dollaro, together with another dog, saved the life of the owner and the other hunters . In fact, the bloodhounds gave providential signals of nervousness near a cable that had fallen from the line onto the ground.

Dollaro's owner, the Aggese vet Giannetto Bianco, says: «The dogs yelped and Dollaro also gave signals, I noticed the cable just in time and started screaming to warn everyone. Unfortunately my hound was electrocuted. I'm still shocked. I love animals and they saved me ."

The Tempio Prosecutor's Office has entrusted the investigation into the episode to the Forestry Corps and investigations into the reasons for the cable's detachment are underway.
