Today the commander of the Carabinieri Legion “Sardegna”, General Francesco Rizzo, also arrived in Lula, accompanied by the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri of Nuoro, Colonel Gennaro Cassese.

The two commanders paid an official visit to the Carabinieri station in Lula. The meeting represented an important opportunity for discussion and a strong signal of respect for the military, who daily ensure security, legality, and public order in an area of strategic importance to the Nuoro hinterland.

During the visit, the senior officer expressed his sincere appreciation to all the station staff for their dedication, spirit of sacrifice, and high sense of duty with which they carry out their service to the local community, emphasizing how the Carabinieri station has always been the first and essential point of reference for citizens.

The Legion commander then wanted to extend special and heartfelt thanks to the soldiers of the Monte Pizzinnu Squadron and the members of the “Sardegna” Helicopter Hunter Squadron.
