She injured her ankle while hiking the Sella del Diavolo trail. The incident occurred in Cagiari, where a woman—no longer able to walk independently—was rescued late yesterday evening.

The alarm triggered the intervention of the Fire Brigade of the Cagliari Provincial Command, who sent two emergency response teams to the site from the operations center, with the support of specialists from the SAF (Speleo Alpino Fluviale) unit.

In collaboration with emergency medical personnel, the woman was reached along the trail, stabilized, and safely transported to an area accessible to emergency vehicles. There, she was handed over to 118 and transferred to the hospital for assessment and necessary treatment.
