A 56-year-old worker fell into a sewage treatment tank near Sassari . The accident occurred at an Abbanoa construction site on the SP 60 highway around 2:30 PM, in the Serra Longa area.
The worker is alive and 118 transported him with a red code to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari.
Luckily , the water in the purification tank cushioned the fall from a height of 5 meters . The man fractured his leg but is not in danger of dying.
The Carabinieri and Spresal staff were also on site.
