He was hiding a veritable arsenal of warfare in his house, including rifles, pistols, explosives, detonators, laser pointers and much more : this is what the Carabinieri of the Ozieri Company discovered in the countryside of Oschiri , together with the soldiers of the "Cacciatori Sardegna" Helicopter Squadron and the Bomb Squad of the Provincial Command of Sassari.

The man was arrested red-handed for illegal possession of war weapons and common firearms, possession and manufacture of explosives , receiving stolen goods and possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing .

During the raid yesterday morning in the Sos Ozzastros area, during the search the following were found: a Zastava M76 precision rifle , cal. 8, complete with optics and magazine; an AK47 automatic rifle (war weapon), cal. 7.62; a Beretta automatic rifle (war weapon), mod. 38/A cal. 9x19 with magazine; an Erma-werke EG712 lever-action rifle, cal. 22 with serial number erased; a 9mm pistol with magazine and serial number erased ; 2 Beretta 70 pistols, cal. 7.65 mm, with magazine and serial number erased; a 9mm pistol, with magazine and serial number erased; a Walther P38 pistol, cal. 9x19, with magazine and serial number erased; a Franchi shotgun, cal. 12 with serial number erased; a Hatsan Escort Magnum 20 gauge rifle with the serial number erased; 16 silencers for firearms ; a Diana 25 caliber 4.5 mm carbine; a Gamo Shadow 100 caliber 4.5 mm carbine with the serial number erased; a Ruger Air Scout caliber 4.5 mm carbine; 3 Bruni blank-firing pistols; several high-capacity magazines for handguns and long guns; 5 precision aiming optics of various makes and models; a Beamshot laser pointer ; a telephone jammer ( frequency jamming device ) with 8 antennas; a bulletproof vest with homemade steel plates; a wig ; numerous balaclavas ; an ammunition reloading press complete with accessories; several hundred spent cartridge cases, primers, bullets and other material used for reloading ammunition; approximately 27 grams of cocaine ; a sum in cash equal to 9,700 euros; various home-made explosive devices , several kilos of chemical substances, fuses , detonators and various pyrotechnic devices; 652 live cartridges (of various calibers).
The weapons, explosives, narcotics, money, and all the other materials found were seized, while, given their high explosive potential, the explosive material was destroyed by personnel from the Bomb Squad of the Sassari Provincial Command.

At the end of the activities, the arrested man , by order of the Sassari Public Prosecutor's Office which is directing and coordinating the investigations, was transferred to Bancali prison , pending the validation hearing.
