A Serramanna farm faces a criminal complaint and a hefty fine for illegal work.

A 56-year-old Serramanna resident and owner of a farm was reported for violating labor laws.
The measure was taken following an inspection conducted by the Carabinieri of the Cagliari Labor Inspectorate and by military personnel from the Serramanna and Villasor stations.
The entrepreneur is specifically accused of failing to appoint a competent doctor and of not having a Risk Assessment Document . Furthermore, during the inspections, it was discovered that the company employed a Senegalese national without a valid residence permit or any form of contract.
For this reason, in addition to reporting the crime to the judicial authorities and other competent authorities, the Carabinieri also imposed the so-called "maximum fine" for undeclared work.
The entrepreneur was thus fined, of criminal nature, totaling 3,778 euros and administrative sanctions amounting to a further 6,346 euros.
