A nasty surprise at Poetto: foam and sewage on the beach at the first stop.

An unpleasant surprise this morning for the many swimmers who crowded the beach at the first stop on Poetto.
While the Posidonia oceanica seemed to be the most obvious problem on the Spiaggia dei Centomila (Centomyen Beach) until now, the first Sunday of summer was spoiled by a thick white foam deposited along the shoreline.

Due to the lack of a headwind, the foam accumulated on the shore, under the eyes and to the annoyance of swimmers.

An unwelcome presence that attracted the attention of residents and tourists, in a stretch of sea already marked by the seaweed accumulated in front of the Prima Fermata.
