She was wandering alone, on foot, at the side of the road, on the access ramp of the 131 dcn in Budoni, in the direction of Olbia .

This morning, the police rescued a 13-year-old girl who was putting her safety at risk by walking onto the highway.

It was noticed by officers from the Siniscola Police Station's Flying Squad, who were engaged in territorial control operations implemented in seaside resorts for the summer season.

The little girl was very frightened and clearly agitated. This emotional vulnerability initially led her to refuse the police's help out of fear, repeatedly attempting to escape .

The officers therefore had to use an empathetic approach to gain the girl's trust and prevent her from continuing onto the road. They approached her, speaking to her patiently and sensitively to convince her to follow them, avoiding making her feel coerced .

The little girl was taken to the Olbia emergency room and entrusted to the care of medical staff. She had voluntarily left the family home at dawn this morning. Her parents, tracked down by the police and very frightened, expressed concern and immediately rushed to the hospital. Once the tests were completed, the little girl was returned to her family, who were able to embrace her again.
