A few weeks ago, the Council of the Union of Municipalities approved the technical and economic feasibility study included in the additional act of territorial planning for the Municipality of Calangianus . This strategic project, Mayor Fabio Albieri announced, costing €2.2 million and will involve the former railway station area, with the goal of a profound urban redevelopment.

The project includes a direct connection to Casa Cantoniera 18, home to the new municipal Tourist Office, which is scheduled to open soon.

The initiative builds on existing efforts to protect and promote the historical and environmental heritage at the foot of the Limbara massif and the Monti di Deu archaeological site. Specifically, the project includes the redevelopment and redevelopment of the entire area, the construction of a sustainable mobility service center with bicycle rental, a camper van parking area, an urban park, the restoration of the historic granite staircase connecting the former station to Via Vittorio Emanuele, and the redevelopment of the road system connecting to the Cork Museum. Following approval, a Services Conference will be held to obtain the necessary permits, particularly landscape permits, in order to finalize the executive project and initiate the tender process.
