A small fire that started in the heating system of an apartment building on Via Catte required the intervention of the Fire Brigade in Nuoro. The team responded to the scene with the support of a ladder truck.

The prompt action of rescuers allowed the flames to be contained and quickly extinguished, preventing what could have been far more serious consequences. According to initial investigations, the fire was caused by a presumed fault with the burner in the power plant's boiler.

Firefighters are working to secure the facility and the building to prevent further risks. During the rescue operations, Via Catte was temporarily closed to traffic, causing traffic disruption. The road will be reopened once all safety checks have been completed.
