The Sardinians who have completed the vaccination cycle with two doses are 78.4 percent, compared to a national average of 77.1 percent. To this must be added a further 2.3% (the Italian average is 2.6%) with the first dose only.

These are the results of the weekly monitoring by the Gimbe Foundation.

The government report shows that today there are 1,253,474 vaccinated people in Sardinia, that is 84.2% of the population over 12. Currently, about 700 first doses per day and over 10 thousand third doses are being administered.

The third dose vaccination coverage rate - adds Gimbe - is 30.9%, compared to the Italian average which stands at 31.8%.
