Flight saves life, today, for a baby of just six months urgently transported from Alghero to Genoa with a Falcon 50 of the 31st Wing of the Italian Air Force.

The transfer was activated, at the request of the Prefecture of Sassari, from the operations room of the Air Force which is responsible, among other things, for the coordination of this kind of activity throughout the national territory.

Taking off this morning from Ciampino airport, the plane then arrived in Alghero where it embarked the thermal cradle with the little patient. Departed from the Sardinian airport with a medical team on board for assistance during the flight, the Falcon 50 then reached the Genoa airport where an ambulance was waiting for the flight which immediately transferred the child at the "Giannina Gaslini" pediatric hospital.
