A very strong bond, even family, between Sardinia and Calabria capable of delivering five kilos of pure cocaine to the island every month. An intense traffic went on between 2019 and 2020 vanquished this morning at dawn by the carabinieri dei Ros who carried out seven precautionary custody orders, four in the island (in the Oristano and in the Nuorese) and three in the Calabrian municipality of San Luca.

Francesco Borore, 63 from Borore, Costantino Dore (59 from Orgosolo, but resident in Arborea), Salvatore Innocenti (33 from Fonni) ended up in prison while Silvano Murgia (76 from Uras) is under house arrest given his precarious conditions of health. The three Calabrians Antonio Strangio (62), Sebastiano Ficara (36) and Giuseppe de Luca (63) are also in the cell. During the searches carried out today in collaboration with the military of the provincial commands of Nuoro, Oristano and Reggio Calabria, with the support of the Arma helicopter, hashish was recovered in the house of Dore while in an area attributable to Innocenti, in Prato Sardo, in Nuoro, 2000 marijuana seedlings were seized.

The investigation, coordinated by the Cagliari Anti-Mafia District Prosecutor, made it possible to reconstruct the roles of the suspects and the methods of transporting the cocaine loads, made to arrive in Sardinia (by ship with arrival in the port of Olbia) thanks to the couriers driving of rental cars in which drugs were hidden. From here the cakes branded 'Ndr arrived in Borore, Arborea and also in the south of the island, in Decimoputzu, probably leads to Cagliari for sale.

THE NETWORK - As the deputy national commander of the Ros, Gianluca Valerio, and the commanders of the anti-crime section of Cagliari, Giorgio Mazzoli, and that of the anti-crime unit of Nuoro, Gabriele Tronca, reconstructed this morning, the contact person in Sardinia of the Calabrese clan was Porcu, involved in the past in a double kidnapping. The drug arrived in his fold through contact with Strangio and Ficara, who arrived in Sardinia several times, as emerged from the investigations of the Ros. The drugs arrived in courier cars and there are those who traveled with their minor daughter to arouse less suspicion. The two Calabrians often stayed on the island at the home of Murgia, married to Strangio's sister, therefore a trusted man of the clan.

According to the allegations, the group was able to deliver five kilos of cocaine a month. During the investigations, a load was also intercepted and a large amount of money (500 thousand euros) was also seized in a courier's car. The investigations were coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Gilberto Ganassi while the orders were ordered by the investigating judge Giuseppe Pintori.
