The adhesion of traders to the battle against energy speculation, which started in Nuoro, has spread to the whole island .
The participation in the initiative supported by over 400 merchants adhering to ''Cuori della città'' was important.
In the shop windows, posters to support the battle against energy speculation : “Hands off Sardinia” and “I say no to energy speculation” were the chosen slogans.
Many requests for posters and billboards arrived from all over the island .
«They called us from Macomer, Cagliari, Sassari, Siniscola, from many centers», says Alessandra Lai, spokesperson for ''Cuori della città, «a truly unexpected response».
The traders are replicating initiatives , already promoted during the Covid emergency and the battle for citizen-friendly healthcare, which in Nuoro had seen numerous street demonstrations .
"This also seems like a just battle to us" says Alessandra Lai and "this is also a way to say no to this wild assault on the landscape of the Island".
