Carabinieri officers from the Villasimius station located and arrested a 38-year-old man subject to a precautionary detention order issued by the Cagliari Court . The man, already known to law enforcement, was the target of the order because he was held responsible for stalking, aggravated assault, attempted robbery, and aggravated trespass.
The measure stems from complaints filed last November by his ex-partner.

According to the military's reconstruction, the man allegedly engaged in a series of stalking behaviors that lasted about a year: phone calls, harassing and threatening messages, as well as stalking and stakeouts, with the intent of resuming a long-term romantic relationship.
Based on the findings, the Villasimius Station promptly informed the Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office, which requested the precautionary measure, which was later granted by the investigating judge.
Once located and secured, the suspect was taken to the Villasimius barracks and, after completing the usual formalities, transferred to Uta prison.
