Sardinia: Over €39 million from the Ministry of Transport for provincial roads

Over 39 million euros allocated to Sardinia for extraordinary interventions to redevelop the provincial road network .
This is what is envisaged in the national plan launched by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, which has allocated a total of more than one billion euros to Italian provinces, from north to south.
The funds, intended to improve the condition of road infrastructure , were distributed taking into account the real needs of the territories and the most evident critical issues reported by local administrations.
The measure was supported by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Matteo Salvini, with the aim of comprehensively intervening in the maintenance and modernization of the secondary road network, often neglected over the years.
Specifically, Sardinia will receive €39,356,672, divided among the five provinces as follows: Sassari will receive €13,529,480, Nuoro €8,177,152, Cagliari €6,884,121, and Oristano €5,477,165.
and finally in Southern Sardinia 5,288,753 euros.
The interventions may include extraordinary maintenance , safety improvements, modernization, and enhancements to existing infrastructure, with significant implications for traffic flow, safety, and local economic development.
