«The award that was awarded to me represents a great motivation to continue to carry on my business with commitment and with the aim of always improving», said the agricultural entrepreneur Mattia Sirigu, owner of the Senorbì livestock farm awarded by Sardinia Food Awards, the organization that awards Oscars to agri-food products . «It is truly an honor to receive such consideration from industry experts», concludes Sirigu.
The objective of the Sardinia Food Awards is the promotion and valorisation of agri-food, raising awareness of the widespread undergrowth of small and medium-sized local businesses that represent the excellence of the quality of Sardinian products.
It is not the first important recognition for the young agricultural entrepreneur. A year ago the cow and sheep yogurt produced in his company won second place in the first national competition for Italian agricultural dairy products. On that occasion the selection was made by the jury of experts convened by Ruminantia, a free web-magazine intended for all operators in the milk and meat production chain from ruminant breeding.
