For the regional tourism councilor Gianni Chessa – who took part in the “ribbon cutting” – participation in tourist fairs «is a fundamental component of the promotion of Sardinia on the national and international market. The spaces of the Bmt are important: 12,000 square meters that host 400 exhibitors, 10,500 accredited operators, 140 buyers, 12 regions, 26 countries and 220 media. «Our presence at the Mediterranean Stock Exchange is characterized by territorial promotion – added councilor Chessa – In particular, with spring just around the corner , we are presenting proposals related to active tourism. Among the many projects , a cycle of spring festivals that is organized in 17 locations, including Ogliastra, Baronia. Marghine and Planargia».

«At Bmt the public is mainly made up of professionals in the sector , to whom the first two days of the event are reserved. The fairs also represent an important opportunity to promote our food and wine , with some moments reserved for tastings and in-depth meetings that allow a virtual journey to Sardinia , in the wake of traditional flavors and products », concluded the exponent of the Giunta Solinas.
