"Dalia" by Joe Juanne Piras and "Reginetta" by Federico Russotto are the winning short films of "Passaggi d'autore - intrecci mediterranei", the short film festival, this year at its 18th edition , which was held in the coastal town of South Sardinia.
The two shorts established themselves in their respective sections: "Intrinas" dedicated to Sardinian cinema, and "Intrecci mediterranei" , the most emblematic section of the review, with 23 short films from twelve countries in the Mare Nostrum area .
Established this year, the two awards represent an absolute novelty of the "Immagini" cinema club, organizer of the event.
The very young juries made up of local university and high school students expressed their preferences with the workshops curated by Francesco Crispino and Claudio De Pasqualis and the collaboration of Unica Radio.
Joe Juanne Piras and Federico Russotto were awarded the two sculptures made in andesite, a typical volcanic stone of the place, by the Sant'Antioco artist Antonio Cauli , protagonist of the documentary "L'Ulisse" , co-signed by Marta Massa and Patrik Varsi .
