First fast race and first victory for the Orobic champion, who equals Federica Brignone's record of Italian successes in the World Cup
Sofia Goggia triumphs in the Saint Moritz World Cup super-G , the first fast race of the alpine skiing season.
With a time of 1.16.63, with an ever-progressive race, the Lombardian took victory number 23 in her career, once again equaling Federica Brignone as the absolute record of successes for the Italians .
On the podium, far behind, were the Austrian Cornelia Huetter and the Swiss Lara Gut Behrami . Fourth Mikaela Shiffrin, fifth Federica Brignone who won two giant slalom races last weekend.
The other Italians: seventh Marta Bassino, bad fall for Elena Curtoni , but without serious consequences.
