Thirty years of history, identity, and cultural resistance come together in "Islanders Veri," the new double album by Sa Razza, out Friday, October 23, 2026 on all digital platforms. Three decades after Wessisla (1996), a cult album that helped shape the history of G-funk and West Coast sound in Italy, Quilo and Ruido return with 19 tracks that reaffirm the duo's role among the pioneers of Sardinian and Italian hip hop.
Born and raised in Iglesias, amidst the working-class neighborhoods and old mines of Sulcis, Sa Razza are building a project that looks to the future without denying their origins. " Islanders Veri" is the story of belonging, of an independent musical history and an identity that spans generations, keeping Sardinia, its language, its territories, and its culture at its core. Not simply a nostalgic venture, but a new artistic chapter that brings together the West Coast's heritage with the sounds and sensibilities of contemporary hip hop.

One of the most significant elements of Islanders Veri is the wealth of guest appearances, bringing together some of the most iconic figures in the national hip hop scene and numerous artists with ties to the Sardinian music scene. The album features Guè, Neffa, Jake La Furia, Tormento, Vacca, Sud Sound System, and Montenero, along with Doll Kill, Lil Pin, Joe Perrino, Sick Boy Simon, Azzurra Parisi, Riky, Kumalibre, Natty Sam, G Leggenda, and Donato.

Particularly significant is the resumption of dialogue with Neffa, who has been associated with Sa Razza since their days at Century Vox in Bologna, and with Sud Sound System, who, along with the duo, have been key players in a historic connection between Sardinia and Salento. Alongside national names, the presence of Sardinian artists and guests close to the region represents a key aspect of the project: a network of collaborations that enhances the diversity of the island scene without losing touch with its roots.
