Cagliari Calcio also remembers Sa Die de sa Sardigna and, on the occasion of the "Sardinian People's Day", presents the Special Edition Match Shirt which will be worn during the next home match, on 5 May, against Lecce.

The shirt, with a pixel effect (with colors that recall Giuseppe Sciuti's work “Entry of Giovanni Maria Angioy in Sassari”) also featured on the side part of the shorts and on the back of the socks, features the Cagliari Calcio coat of arms on the front, on the side and at the height of the heart, and has its distinctive elements in the three texts in Sardinian that appear in different places on the playing uniform: «The name of the festival, “Sa Die de sa Sardigna”, visible horizontally on the back of the shirt and vertically on the back of the socks - explains the club - the date "Su 28 de Abrili" internally on the crew neck; the phrase "Nara Cixiri" internally on the lower part of the shirt, to reiterate and remember the phonetic formula with which, according to legend, it was easy to identify "the foreigner". The Piedmontese were blocked by seeing the request formulated "Nara cixiri" (translation: pronounce the word "cece"), anyone who could not pronounce this word well ("cixiri" in Sardinian means "chickpea") was not "casteddaio" and was therefore destined to be boarded and removed."

The shirt was created by the technical sponsor EYE Sport with respect for the environment: the fabric yarn is produced from recycled PET.
