The beach of S'Archittu in Cuglieri takes its name from the magnificent "natural bridge", which is located right in front of the beach and which is one of the largest in Sardinia.

Dug from the sea into a rocky peninsula, which closes to form a sheltered cove with transparent waters, it gives its name to the adjacent seaside village.

Nearby are a bar, restaurant and various services.

The panorama is very special. The small beach has fine white-gray sand with pebbles.

The sea is blue-green and rather deep.

The beach is crowded in high season; it detects the presence of beached posidonia.

HOW TO REACH IT - Take the SS292 up to Torre del Pozzo (Torre Su Puttu); overcome this settlement and reach the adjacent one of S'Archittu.

Turn left, towards the coast, and move into the main street, on the right (north), up to the northern outskirts.

Park and walk along the mule track along the coast for about 500 meters to the beautiful cove.
