«We are experiencing significant delays in the publication of the notices , by the Department of Agriculture, on the measures of the new 2023-2027 Rural Development Programme . Something never seen. At present, in fact, thousands of farmers and breeders risk not being able to present the applications, which expire on June 15th and have already been extended from May 15th , since the Agricultural Assistance Centers themselves would not be able to dismiss all the practices in few weeks, uploading them to the National Agricultural Information System».

This is the complaint of the regional director of Confagricoltura Sardinia, Maurizio Onorato. «An enormous amount of work concentrated in a few tens of days – he continues – where, in addition to the questions from the PSR, those from the Single Application of the Community Agricultural Policy (CAP) also expire on the same date. Here, like Confagricoltura Sardegna, we ask the Region to make access to calls for tenders already published , but not yet available through the links, and above all to publish all the others not yet available ».

Onorato recalls that " a rapid involvement by the Region of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry (Masaf) would also be desirable, so that a new deadline can be immediately set , so as to work on all the questions still to be instruct on directives, commitments and rewards that will be discovered with the arrival of the new tenders».

Very tight times that fuel so much uncertainty among farmers and operators of trade associations, especially if "measures such as those on organic or agri-environmental actions are still to be signed by the councilor for Agriculture, Valeria Satta".

In these conditions, the conclusion, "the whole process that still remains to be completed risks not reaching a conclusion within the established times, creating a condition of enormous criticality never recorded in the past".
