Roberto Brunetti , an actor who has always been known by the nickname “Er Patata”, died at the age of 55. The lifeless body, lying supine on the bed, was found late yesterday by the police in his house in via Arduino, near Piazza Bologna.

The agents in the house found traces of hashish and cocaine , it will be the autopsy that will be ordered by the Rome prosecutor's office to clarify the causes of death and whether it is linked to the use of drugs.

Popular above all in Rome, but not only in Rome, Brunetti made himself known to the general public with the comedies of the 90s, starting with Leonardo Pieraccioni's “F works of fireworks”. Among his films " Paparazzi ", "Sexy Comedy", " The Return of the Trash ". He also participated in TV series such as "A cyclone in the family" and "District of Police".

But the most important role of his life he had in 2005, when he played Aldo Buffoni in the film "Criminal novel" by Michele Placido. For ten years his career had stopped: Brunetti opened a fish shop that went bankrupt and in 2019 he launched an appeal to go back to work on the set: “ I live on citizenship income, help me ”.

In 2017 he was arrested for drug possession.
