«Conte, Salvini, Bernini today in Sardinia have the air of viceroys who graciously visit the outskirts of the empire. They have the same expression on their faces. That of masters."

This is the polemical judgment of Lucia Chessa , candidate for governor of Sardigna R-Esiste , on the repeated visits of the big names in national politics in view of the final rush of the electoral campaign for the regional elections on 25 February.

«My big names don't come from Rome and they don't bring amazing promises of turning points in the history of Sardinia», adds Chessa, posting a photo on her Facebook profile that portrays her together with the candidates of Sardigna R-Esiste. And again: «They do not announce rivers of euros in which to drown the memory, dignity and intelligence of the Sardinians. My big names come from all over Sardinia and are sincere, altruistic, loyal."
