"Greater attendance, not just in numbers but in actual participation, in the Chamber and on committees, and an invitation to councilors to participate in the proceedings, especially when discussing motions under their jurisdiction." Regional Council President Piero Comandini didn't mince his words , urging the assembly to be more responsible , especially after a series of quorum lapses (including in committees) in recent weeks.

" What has happened in recent sessions is unacceptable ," the leader of the assembly on Via Roma clarified to the Group Leaders' Conference. "The work of the Council and the Committees cannot be postponed due to a lack of a quorum." Tomorrow morning, therefore, the chamber will once again be filled starting at 10:30 a.m. with a new session that will include, among other items, amendments to the law governing the management and development of Sardinia's tourist railways and the bodies of the Trenino Verde Foundation. This topic was also discussed in the previous session, which unfortunately was cancelled.
