Giuseppe Conte's electoral tour in Sardinia in support of Alessandra Todde, candidate for the position of governor for the Pd-M5s-led Campo Largo in the regional elections on 25 February, ended in Cagliari.

"The school and health facilities are being erased before your eyes, but how can a land like this, rich in natural and cultural resources, rise again without a health facility, without an effective school facility?", said the Five Star leader to the Cagliari Fair after having touched the main centers of the island. Numerous topics were touched upon in his speech: healthcare, schools, transport, and he focused everything on the aspiring first female president of the Region: «We are proud because Alessandra is serious, competent, concrete and above all honest».

«They will take away the barracks, they will cut the post offices, I don't want to scare you but it will be like this - Conte explained from the stage after the interventions of the regional coordinator Ettore Licheri and the candidate Todde -, because the current government from Rome, which to make ends meet he is incapable of building an expansionary policy, he says he will raise cash by selling stakes in the Post Office and Railways."
