With a coming and going of 73,040 passengers, Alghero airport closed the month of January 2023 with an increase of over 30 percent compared to the same pre-pandemic period (2019) and of over 66 percent compared to January 2022.

This was announced by Sogeaal, the management company, underlining that the domestic market (69,339 total passengers) was decisive. To date, the company is awaiting the results of the negotiated procedure launched by the Region which will lead to the definition of the carrier to which the connections to Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate will be assigned, in a regime of territorial continuity. Sogeeal says it is confident in the successful outcome of the process undertaken by the Department of Transport and hopes that the possibility will be made available as soon as possible for users to purchase airline tickets for territorial continuity connections.

Over the next few weeks, the management will present the entire offer of connections that will be available to and from Alghero Fertilia airport during the upcoming Summer 2023 season.
