The son of the smuggler boss of Bari vecchia has the face of Andrea Arru. The fourteen-year-old actor from Pisa will be broadcast on Canale 5 from Wednesday 3 November with the fiction "Storia di una famiglia respectable", directed by Stefano Reali, produced by 11 Marzo Film.

Eight episodes, transmitted in pairs, for a story taken from the book of the same name by Rosa Ventrella which tells the story first of friendship and then of love between Maria De Santis, daughter of fishermen, and Michele, son of the boss Nicola Straziota, the the most unfortunate and dangerous smugglers family of Bari in the 1980s.

Maria is nicknamed "Malacarne" for her insolent manner: on the screen she is played by Silvia Rossi, as a child, and Federica Torchetti, as an adult, while Andrea Arru is Michele as a boy, in the role that Carmine Buschini sees as an adult (" Red bracelets"). Maria's parents are played by Giuseppe Zeno and Simona Cavallari.

Andrea Arru is now becoming a well-known face in TV fiction ("Good morning, mom") and in the cinema, where after the small part in "Calibro 9" he became the protagonist of "Glassboy", a film by director Samuele Rossi with Loretta Goggi . “Glassboy” won the “Feature Experience” section in School Experience 2, organized by the Autonomous Giffoni Experience, and the Children's Audiovisual Festival in Venezuela.
