With "Stories of women" the Province of Nuoro takes a theatrical review on tour to reflect on equality and equal opportunities. Three appointments located between Macomer, Tortolì and Nuoro, to sensitize the communities on issues that have long been at the center of Nuoro policies, for a society in which men and women have equal rights and where opportunities, responsibilities and tasks are equally distributed.

It starts from Macomer, Friday 18 November at 20.30 in the Tamuli Pavilion of the former Caserme Mura, with the show "Me of who I am", dedicated to the theme of family fostering. A long confession with the "failed mother" which contains in a single story the events and faces of "those children without homes or parents".

On November 29th at 8.30 pm appointment in Tortolì , San Francesco theater, with "Frammenti Rosa", female amorous adventures told in a playful and irreverent tone, to reflect on the dynamics of the couple.

On 5 December at 8.30 pm at the Bocheteatro in Nuoro , the show on emigration “Guilty of travel” will be staged. The works are written and interpreted by Monica Corimbi.

The initiative is part of the 2022 Plan of the Equality Councilor of the Nuoro Province. «I chose the formula of the theatrical review - explains Lorena Paola Urrai, Equality Councilor - because, in the post-Covid era, it allows people to meet and reflect on gender issues. The shows highlight the experiences of women, in relation to the care work on intra-family and social relationships that women establish in a context that is often and tendentially male-oriented. There will also be a reflection on the personal and social dynamics of emigration. At the end of each performance there will be space for discussion with the public».
