Tradition parades through the streets of the town of Bono for a historical reenactment entitled “Sas Domos de Angioy”. The event, scheduled for the days of April 26 and 27, is organized by the municipal administration in collaboration with the Pro Loco and the folk group GM Angioy in honor of Giovanni Maria Angioy one of the most emblematic figures of the “Sarda Rivoluzione”.

The Municipality of Bono, in fact, is known for being the birthplace of the politician and revolutionary who, inspired by the ideas of the French Revolution and convinced of the need to fight tyranny, rebelled against the Savoy after the Sardinian Vespers. It is precisely to the figure of the historic Sardinian patriot that “Sas Domos de Angioy” is dedicated, which takes place in Bono at the end of April, one of the most anticipated events in the country.

On this occasion, not only will the politician Giovanni Maria Angioy be remembered, but we will also discover the typical food and wine of the area, traditional songs and dances, with the participation of traditional masks, folk groups and couples in traditional dress from all over Sardinia. At Sas Domos de Angioy, beauty and tradition meet. Traditional clothes from all over Sardinia will parade through the streets of Bono, showing the magnificence of fabrics and details of this beautiful cultural heritage to be preserved.
