"Dear Union,

I have read with great attention your letter of the past few days and dedicated to a re-evaluation, with a view to replanting, of the hills of Cagliari. I am a 51 year old, with 45 years of my life spent at the foot of the San Michele hill, exactly in via Betto Alliata. A difficult area in which to raise a boy. I met the Colle without the park now present, frequented by stray dogs who followed you as you ran away with the bike. Or the drug addicts who in the caves sent you away screaming and frightening. And I could write for a long time. Caves and air-raid shelters that would bring tourism if open to the public and provided with expert guides.

A hill to which I would dedicate my last years of life if they would hire me as a guardian, defending, caring for and protecting its greenery. The same greenery ripped from the trees downstream on the nursery side and the former district fortunately recently demolished.

Those roots that previously supported erosion, now allow the rains to flow into via Betto Alliata creating a layer of mud several centimeters high, walking on them is like skating on ice with socks.
Restoring the uprooted vegetation would have more than one positive purpose.
Thanks".
