Tight negotiations in Sardinian politics in view of the election of the three delegates who will participate in the vote of the head of state in Rome on Monday 24 January. The scheme that has been a tried and tested practice in the last legislatures - that is the choice of the presidents of the Executive and Council and of the group leader of the opposition party with several members - vacillates. In short, it cannot be taken for granted that on Wednesday 12 the Regional Council will give a mandate to the governor Christian Solinas, the highest representative of the Assembly Michele Pais, and to the president of the Pd group Gianfranco Ganau.

One of the two between Solinas and Pais risks not making it because the intergroup (UDC, Forza Italia, Riformatori) does not intend to give the opportunity to vote for the new President of the Republic to two figures who will sit in the benches of the same political group: Lega-Psd'Az. Above all, Pais would be at risk. As for Ganau, the minority could eventually converge on its name.

There remain the discontent of those political forces, such as Progressives and M5s, who were not involved in the meeting between the dem councilors which identified the former prime minister Ganau as the only possible candidate for the opposition.

The election of the electors is scheduled for Wednesday, January 12 in the Chamber. The day before, at 5 pm, a group leader was convened in which they will try to unravel all the issues.
