A woman who touched the hearts of many without ever seeking recognition. Joyce Lussu , born Gioconda Beatrice Salvadori, was a rebellious soul, a thinker who courageously faced universal themes such as war, politics and human relationships. On Sunday 13 October, at DoMusArt, her extraordinary life and her deep love for Sardinia will be celebrated in a long meeting dedicated to her figure.

From 6:30 pm, in via Neghelli, the public will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Joyce's disarming words, thanks to the interpretation of the actress Valentina Sulas . Through her autobiographical texts, drawn from her experiences in Sardinia, Sulas will bring to the stage a vibrant narrative that captures the essence of a woman in love with the land that adopted her. A love that has defined not only her life, but also her art, and that continues to resonate in her words.

To enrich the evening, the musical interludes of the accordionist Eleonora Steri, who with her music will create a suggestive atmosphere, paying homage to the poetics of Lussu. The presentation of the event will be curated by Tamara Piras, under the artistic direction of the journalist Maurizio Melis.
