Contemporary dance will close the second edition of the Barumini Music & Heritage Festival on Friday, July 31st at 9:00 PM. The natural stage of Su Nuraxi will host "Puccini's Opera. Voci di Donne," a production by Monica Casadei for the Artemis Danza Company.

The show pays homage to four of Puccini's most celebrated female characters: Tosca, Madama Butterfly, Mimì, and Turandot. Through her personal reinterpretation of the feminine, Monica Casadei brings to the stage timeless stories, united by overwhelming passions, impossible loves, desires, and tragedies.

The show represents the grand finale of a festival that, once again, transforms the UNESCO site of Su Nuraxi into a meeting place for heritage, art, and modernity.
