The thirty-fifth congress of the Psd'Az ends in Arborea amidst tensions with the confirmation by acclamation of the outgoing secretary Christian Solinas.

Antonio Moro, outgoing president of the party, also managed to keep his position, but not without some difficulties. Before the election, also in this case by acclamation, another candidacy emerged, that of the outgoing deputy secretary Quirico Sanna.

After various protests, linked in part to the method of presenting a candidacy considered irregular by the party leaders, Sanna withdrew it and at that point Antonio Moro was confirmed.

The outcome of the congress leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of two of the three Sardinian regional councilors - Piero Maieli and Gianni Chessa who intended to give a sign of discontinuity with Sanna - while Alfonso Marras supported the outgoing ones. In particular, Maieli said today that he was unable to take the floor to intervene.
