Podium for the Yacht Club Olbia at the Europa Cup of Laser

Brillano, the helmsmen of the Yacht Club Olbia, at the Europa Cup of Laser which gathered hundreds of specialists from ten nations in Naples. In the first two days, the Neapolitan gulf offered medium strong winds, which instead reached 30 knots on Sunday, the last day. A condition that did not scare the young people from Olbia, who are fully at ease. In the Ilca 4 category, corresponding to the Laser 4.7 and very crowded with over 150 participants, they occupied the entire podium. At the top, after four races and with 5 points, Salvatore Falchi. For him, also the primacy among the Under 16. Second, tied (but disadvantaged by the lower number of partial first places), Nicolò Cassitta, while Antonio Barabino took the third step, only one point away from his teammates. In the same fleet, Carlo Calaresu (7th), Leonardo Locci (13th) and Edoardo Del Rio (15th), also from Yacht Club Olbia, also defended.
Sardinian singolists were also present in the higher category, ILCA 6 (Radial). The best placement is that of Enrico Tanferna (Yacht Club Olbia, 3rd), while Alberto Nieddu (Yacht Club Cagliar) was 10th.
To crown the trip, the second place of Andrea Crisi (YC Cannigione) in the ILCA 7 (Standard) division. Tito Morbiducci (YC Cannigione, 7th) and Gabriele De Marco (YC Cagliari, 15th) also did well.
