A student of Vincenzo Vitale, he has taken advanced courses with Peter Lang, Aldo Ciccolini, and Vladimir Ashkenazy. In 43 years of career, he has performed in major national theaters and with orchestras on three continents. Pianist Paolo Restani from La Spezia is coming to Sassari: he will perform on Sunday the 18th at 6:00 pm at the Teatro Civico.

Paolo Restani will perform pieces by Debussy, then ample space for Chopin, including nocturnes and a Polonaise, then some preludes by Rachmaninov and to conclude Apres une lecture du Dante: Fantasia quasi musicata by Liszt, a composer of whom he is one of the greatest interpreters.

The concert is the third event in the 11th edition of Itinerari Musicali dell'Identità, a musical journey through the places and identities of Sardinia.
