Ginevra Taddeucci is bronze medal in the 10 kilometers of open water swimming in Paris 2024, in the Seine.

She finished behind the Dutch van Rouwendaal and the Australian Johnson.

The race took place as scheduled, after the controversy of recent days over the bathability of the Parisian river and the cancellation of the first training session.

The Italian dived into the Seine with all the competitors regularly, at 7.30, after the start of the World Aquatics. Taddeucci entered the breakaway of the leading trio from midway through the fourth lap, but was never able to threaten the leading two. He reached the finish line 8'' and 67 hundredths behind the first, 3'' and 1 hundredth from the second.
