So Paolo Fresu on the eve of the peace concert in Kiev, Ukraine, on April 4th. A sound embrace that will merge the art of the great trumpeter from Berchidda, father of Time in Jazz, with the original production signed Insulae Lab 'Sketches of Islands', with the musicians Rino Cirinnà, Edoardo Petretti, Marco Zenini and Francesco de Rubeis. Together with them for the occasion, Luca Devito and Fabrizio Dall'Oca.

The concert on the 4th at the Origin Stage will be preceded by a masterclass scheduled for April 3rd at the R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music .

In addition to the value of the initiative, the value of the artistic proposal and the meaning that notes take on in global contexts where it is the noise of conflict and breaking the silences, a special feature of the event will be the participation in the masterclass of the college students who will have the opportunity to interact with musicians of international caliber.

The ensemble left Italy today for Ukraine, with a stopover in Moldova and a long journey to Kiev.
