The “Salotto letterario di mare e di stelle” hosts, today , Wednesday 28 August , and tomorrow 29, two authors of great depth , with important topics, those covered in their works, which will be debated with academics, politicians and journalists, involved in the fight against the mafia.

Tonight at 9:00 pm, in the public and central Piazza Popoli d'Europa, Nando Dalla Chiesa will be present , with his book “Le Ribelli. Storie di donne che hanno sfidato la mafia per amore”, who will converse with Vincenza Rando , who is a senator of the Republic and a member of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into the phenomenon of the mafia and other criminal associations, including foreign ones.

With them, on stage, there will also be Paolo Borrometi, journalist and writer , also on the front line in the fight against the mafia and co-director of AGI. Borrometi was present in Palau, last spring, at the cineteatro of Montiggia, with a particularly crowded and followed meeting with high school students.

The moderator will be Liliosa Azara, professor of Contemporary History at the Unitre of Rome.

The other appointment is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 29 August, same time and same square; Liliosa Azara with Paolo Borrometi will converse in this case with Marco De Paolis, author of the book: "Hunting Nazis. Marzabotto, Sant'Anna and the Nazi massacres in Italy: the story of the prosecutor who brought the guilty to trial".

The third edition of the “Literary Salon of the Sea and Stars” is organized by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Palau.
