To remember Ugo Tognazzi, on the occasion of the centenary of his birth, the Ministry of Economic Development today issued an ordinary stamp of the thematic series “The excellence of the show”, relating to the value of the B rate equal to 1.10 euros.
The circulation is 300 thousand copies.
The stamp, with a sketch by Francesco Di Pietro, is printed by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato SpA, in rotogravure, on white, neutral coated, self-adhesive, non-fluorescent paper.
“The cartoon - explains Poste Italiane - depicts a portrait of Ugo Tognazzi in the foreground against a background in which some cinematographic films can be glimpsed; at the top right stands the stylized icon of a clapperboard ".
The cancellation of the first day of issue will be available in the post office in Cremona center, the actor and director's city of origin.
