Olbia, success for "La nuit des etoiles"

From the great classics to the avant-garde of contemporary choreography, last night, on the stage of the Arena Teatrale Molo Brin in Olbia, La nuit des étoiles took place, an international dance gala that brought ten stars from the world's most prestigious stages to shine.

From Milan's Teatro alla Scala to the Paris Opera, La nuit des etoiles was a resounding success with audiences and a showcase of talent, technique, and emotion. The gala, masterfully conducted by dancer Anbeta Toromani, opened with Eleonora Abbagnato, director of the Rome Opera Ballet, performing a pas de deux with dancer Luca Curreli. Curreli also closed the first act of the show with a rendition of the world's most famous flying kiss, alongside Paris Opera star Paul Marque.

The Palermo-born ballerina then performed a pop performance with the winning maestro of the latest edition of Dancing with the Stars, Nikita Perotti: to the music of Zizi Jeanmarie, she paid homage to "Cheek to Cheek" in a choreography by Roland Petit. In between, she performed the great works of the repertoire, from Romeo and Juliet in the choreography by Leonid Lavrovsky, Rhapsody by Frederick Ashton, The Talisman and La Bayadere by Marius Petipa. The event, now in its third year, under the artistic direction of Mavi Careddu, is organized by Stage One, in collaboration with the Municipality of Olbia and with the support of the Fondazione di Sardegna.
