This is explosive news, as the buyer isn't Roberto Sulas, the clear favorite to succeed SwissPro, but rather Giuseppe Pistilli, an entrepreneur from Cori (Latina), who operates in the pastry and bakery industries.
At the end of the match, Olbia manager Riccardo Pecchi read a statement confirming the rumors that had begun circulating at lunchtime today. "We would like to announce that today Olbia Calcio signed a preliminary agreement with Giuseppe Pistilli, a Latina entrepreneur active in the pastry and baking industry. A press conference will be held in the coming days to introduce the new owner and the entire management team," it read.
The note denies rumors of Pistilli's past interest in Ternana and Fermana.
