A wasted opportunity at the “Salveti” for Olbia, who took a 2-goal lead in the space of 7 minutes at the home of league leaders Cassino, only to concede an immediate equaliser before the half hour mark.
The 6th day of Serie D ends 2-2, earning the whites just one point, good enough to catch up with Cos in the standings at 2 points and no longer be alone at the bottom. A bitter debut on the bench, therefore, for Lucas Gatti, who fails to give the hoped-for jolt to the Gallura team except at the start of the match.
Time 6', Olbia takes the lead with De Grazia on a free kick, and in the space of a few minutes they even double their lead: Staffa scores by capitalizing on a counterattack. But to secure their first win of the season, something else is needed: in a flash, Cassino re-establishes the balance with Abreu, who scores a brace between the 16th and 26th minutes.
All the goals of the match in the first half, which in the second half is summed up in substitutions, warnings and the protests of the home team for an alleged penalty (hands in the area at 36'). Olbia's next opponent is Paganese at the "Nespoli": it is not yet official, but the challenge will be brought forward to Saturday.
