Oktoberfest: beer and Bavarian atmosphere at the Sardinia Fair

Saturday 30 September 2023 starting at 20.00 in Pavilion E (Opera Music Forum) of the Fiera Della Sardegna the Oktoberfest returns with its XXV edition.
The OktoberFest has always been the most awaited event by beer lovers, during which music, traditional dances, typical food and the folklore of Bavaria and South Tyrol come together and make the atmosphere unique.
The event starts again after a few years of hiatus and sees a sharing in the development and production between the historic organizers and "Tra Le Nuvole" and "Oltre Consulting" operating companies in the production of events such as " Poettofest ", " DeGustibus " " Poetto ON Air ” “ Cagliari Tattoo Convention ”.
The goal of the organizers is to recreate the typical Bavarian party atmosphere in Southern Sardinia; all the artistic and organizational choices are aimed at ensuring an event as faithful to tradition as possible.
The music will be entrusted to the popular Musikkapelle Rodeneck band, a folk band made up of thirteen musicians from Rodengo (South Tyrol).
The corps de ballet chosen, accompanied by the melody of Thomas Bauer 's accordion, is that of the " Schuhplattlerinnen " made up of six dancers who will stage the traditional Bavarian and Tyrolean dance. The word " Schuhplattlerinnen " literally means " shoe beaters ", a clear reference to the sound deriving from fast, almost acrobatic movements, with clapping of hands on the legs and soles of the shoes, combined with jumps and yodeling.
The beer chosen is the one produced by the Hofbräuhaus , an ancient brewery in Munich.
The brewery is one of the seven historic factories in the city and is one of the so-called " six sisters ", the official beers of the Munich OctoberFest.
The gastronomic choice is also oriented towards typical Bavarian cuisine and during the festival it will be possible to taste sauerkraut, Kaiserfleisch (smoked pork), grilled Bratwurst, Bretzel and the typical potato salad.
