Today at 6:00 PM, in the hall of the church of Santa Maria Gabriella, in Nuoro, the Rete SarDEGNA Iniziativa Popolare will present the draft law of popular initiative (pursuant to art. 15 of the Special Statute for Sardinia) for the modification of the current Sardinian electoral law. The proposal was drafted by Professor Omar Chessa, lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Sassari.
Speakers will include Lucia Chessa, president of the Rete SarDEGNA Iniziativa Popolare (and proposer of the bill), Giuseppe Mariano Delogu, member of the Committee for the Reform of the Electoral Law, and Emilio Demuro, activist of the Committees against Energy Speculation.
