The center-left table that met yesterday in Nuoro certified the choice of Emiliano Fenu as Campo Largo's candidate for the office of mayor of the Barbagia capital. The leaders of the coalition parties, including the Progressisti of former deputy mayor Fabrizio Beccu, yesterday late in the evening smoothed out the harshness and eased some discontent, reaching the conclusion that it would be the deputy of the Five Star Movement to run for the most important seat in the civic building on via Dante.

Born 49 years ago in Siniscola, first a senator and then a deputy, Fenu learned of the nomination remotely. He was not present at the meeting held yesterday in Nuoro but some of the center-left exponents communicated to him informally that the choice of his name is final. Irrevocable.

The hypothesis of a third pole, feared by some members of Campo Largo, therefore fades away. In essence, the only one left out of the center-left coalition is Lisetta Bidoni, a former member of the Nuoro Cgil, who will run with her own list. For now, Emiliano Fenu has not commented, but he could already make official statements as a candidate for mayor today.
